Eclipse XML Editors and Tools

Post by MELERIX » Fri Sep 10, 2010 11:53 am

Open Eclipse... Help -> Install New Software

Select Work With: Luna - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna/

and then... open "Web, XML, Java EE and OSGi Enterprise Development" and select "Eclipse XML Editors and Tools"

after install go to Eclipse "Preferences -> XML -> XML Files -> Editor and set Line width to 720.

so now you can Format XMLs using: Team -> Source -> Format

and you can validate XML files too, if DTD or XSD files are present.
