Can't Connect to own server

Post by Royd »

Hi!

I installed and got the server running on my PC (i cloned the latest master in the repository about.. 2 days ago). Now, mi problem is that i can't connect using the same PC where i have the server running.

I believe my problem is that i don't have the correct client, i assumed the last version is High Five and i downloaded like.. 4 High Five clients and nothing works. Some of them give me an error about gameguard files and close after opening, and others open but say "Can not resolve hostname" when trying to log in. I added the host resolve lines to hosts file in system32, and it also don't work.

Can somebody plz tell me where can i download a client that works with the last version of the server, or to send me a system folder to connect to my own local server?

Thanks in advance!

It's likely that the client's outdated protection won't let you run the client, this is unrelated to L2j Server.

You may need to search on the web for a way to disable it.
