Characters column in client is empty sometimes

There is a column "characters" (sorry maybe I wrong, because use RU client) when you choose server. There is must be count of your character at a server.
But it's almost always empty. And display character only sometimes.
Is it client bug, or server-side packet sending bug?

It was working, but implementation wasn't really good and got disabled I think.
