Actually i was going to remove all the CSS from the site if you were using IE6/7 and put this image instead on the header



Well i have lowered the warning for all those using IE6/7 only, even IE8 still sucks.

Why i have done this? because im developing the new L2j forum/website theme and since it has quite some features in jQuery and other CSS stuff it sucks on IE6/7/8, so im not going to lose time doing a separate CSS for IE only or messing my code with CSShacks, i like that my work its XHTML/CSS Valid, and now that Chrome, Safari, Opera and Firefox support some CSS3 and HTML5 im really oriented to work on "real" web browsers.

As janii said, im not forcing you to change your browser, im just making a recomendation to change into a "GOOD browser" since i will not fix useless bugs of IE that just take a lot of time, wasted time, if you think that Internet Explorer 8 its fast, you should use Opera or Chrome instead, thats its BLAZING MOTHAFUKING FAST!!!

Maybe incompartible things should be just thrown away ? I'm a member of the many other forums around the internet, only L2J forum has such "feature".

Its not like they are imcompatible, its just that some shitty browser doesnt support it, too many problems with CSS on IE6/7 this is widely documented on the web (1)

Im doing a favor to all those that still use IE6 (8 years old) browser, that its highly affected by many internet viruses and hacks.

Opera 10 has been released!!! Its so awesome, you Intercrap Explorer user, give it a try if you dare and tell me why IE its better than Opera10.

Clear your cache mate, im using IE8 and i dont see it.

That banner its usign <!--[if lt IE 8]> code tag it reads "if lower than IE 8" so only IE6/7 should be affected.

I just downloaded IE8 with latest updates just to test this, and I don't see the banner, so in theory it's correct...

FireFox 3.5 (newest) is double as fast as FireFox 3 and around 15 times faster than FireFox 2 o.O It's sick =)
I have to admit, the browser is really seriously fast I can only advise you to check it out =)

In addition to the speed, it has a whole bunch of nice features.
