Alot of exploits don't leave obvious traces, and if you don't know what you're looking for it can be a helluva tedious and frustrating job to find and fix it.
As for the current situation, if i suspect a new exploit's being used, i simply log onto MaxCheaters and -what do you know - it's posted right there, sometimes even stickied. That forum actually helps nullify its own purpose

yeah, if you dont give a sh t about your server.
because 1 exploit can ruing an entire economy, i still remember in the past the subclass exploit, and many others.
untill you fix it , wich i doubt that 90% of the gms here have such good java knowledge to actually fix real hard exploits, your server is ruined.
so, it s stupid ur argument and harmfull too.
post as many fake info on maxcheaters as you can, in 2 months is dead.

Actually, it's your arguments that don't make any sense. Any administrator who takes his server a bit serious will take proper care of it. And by that i mean making regular backups and keeping a close eye on whatever is going on on it. These so called
'entire economy destroying bugs' you're talking about are more often then not caused by insecure custom features.
As said, i find it highly convenient that there's a site where 'all' the cheats are posted, cause at the end of the day it forces servers to fix it, thus improving the overall server quality.

first...don't use cat for class transfer;))
2nd rework hole add skill class
3rd add a flood protection at subclass change (few time ago l2j dident had, maybe now had, i dident check)
...and maybe u will not have issue with "stack skills" on a retail server
