I am new to databases since I am MCSA and MCT. This project looked like a really cool thing to work with so I tried it. I loaded the 5.5 MySql with Java7u utilizing Navicat Lite 8. whatever it is and then downloaded the server and datapacks from nightly. I configured the MySql database and loaded the 3 new database stores. I ran the database setup tool from the tools folder and created the datbase instances per the database setup instuctions. I then setup the login server, setting the required fields (as far as I could tell) to the requirements and registered the server to the number and name off the list of my choosing. I then ran the database setup batch file and setup a new account with password and acccess level 2.
I then downloaded the GoD utilizing the NCZ0ft account management interface. Once it was all updated I changed my HOST file on my Win7 64 machine. The settings I used are:

192.168.xx.xx l2authd.lineage2.com
192.168.xx.xx l2update.lineage2.com

I fired up the login server then fired up the game server.

Not using the NCZ0ft Launcher, I logged into the game using the Lineage II launcher on my desktop. I log in using my newly created account, agree to the EULA and then my server is the only one listed.
I cannot log onto the server but I can see it clear as day.
This is closer than I have seen any other posting about GoD. I think I am missing port settings or something for the comunications from the Server to the Client, i don't know at this point but I am working on it.

Am I headed in the right direction?

Ok, As I stated in my previous post, I am new to the whole databse world. I am a System Administrator (Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 Server) so me even attempting to build a MySQL database and access it is a miracle.
What is it that I am missing about the last post that I should be getting? Protocol to me is being able to subnet 13 hosts with 32 client computers on a class A, B, or C subnet, while building USers and Computers permissions groups in the apropriate containers while locking down the system without delays or down-time.

I have started a JAVA basic programming course online but it entails nothing but command compiling with notepad scripting.

The GoD protocol is 415, probably you question is not on-topic.
