well, you are useless here then, because you are not contributing to L2J

Face Punch!
@marcose: Man, you want features for your pvp 500000x server ¬¬
Think a little, do you want an fully featured server or fully WORKING server?
Hey! I have an crystal ball, i know you would choose the "fully featured server",
And here is your answer:
SHUT THE FUCKIN UP YOU IDIOT, how the hell do you expect your server work if it is fully bugged,
thousands of deadlocks and exploits, think a little my little girl...
All developers must be respected, even they aren't active,
And the active ones must be respected twice, because they aren't USELESS like you!

Minimum salary for skilled coder in my country is like 15 Euro per hour (other countries are different).. Please, now just calculate how many hours you spent on this thread and you get the number of Euro you wasted..well..youre not coder or contributor who can code or do some contribution? Not sure if youre in position of demanding something from dev team when you wont or even try to help..
P.S. administrators at L2J are persons who takes care of box, software, connection, payments etc for server. Please, think twice before crying for administrator change since this people (administrators) can stop to waste their time and money and press the OFF button if pissed enough.. much more when this people do not interfere with devs actions but show them selves only when needed (im not coder and i just wasted cca 15 Euro

)
Heads up and let those who do some work here do it properly without to be involved in bullshit threads and accusations like many of you presented here
Big thanks to those who contribute and do some useful work here instead of only bitching around...
Aiki

Sever features... Where you going?
About the fully bugged, i saw rework l2jserver again. So, fix alot of bugs for implementations in each chronicle.
All devolpers need to be respected (Old contribitors) but if can't help right now, is needed a life time devolper?
I saw, add new team devolpers (In the start of the post) and whit money is more easy.
About that "USELESS", im not L2JServer Devolper. Who is working right now in L2JServer, just add new devolpers. User who have time for L2JServer (Free time, Java Knownleage, Lineage 2 H5 Knownleage and want to contribute to L2JServer).

I never saw thing like:
When you are L2j Developer you must contribute ,because you are developer!
WTF is this? You should start respecting them and all who contribute to "FREE PROJECT"....

lol ? you don't need to be a L2J Developer at all "as a condition" to contribute something, so that is not a valid excuse to avoid contribute something to L2J.
except if you are a just a leecher and lazy

So, my question is unawnsered: In what are you working right now? (You, no another user).
I dont saw "just devolpers can contrbute" i saw about the "devolpers" must need to do something insead fix old files.
H5 Has been realsed for more than a year, another teams like L2P (The new one) has been reworked the old server base from Interlude to new for H5 or L2S Started whit the Interlude base of L2P but have done all H5 Things (As i see).

working in things for L2J as always, and others that are not committed yet due require test, review and feedback.
marcose wrote:I dont saw "just devolpers can contrbute" i saw about the "devolpers" must need to do something insead fix old files.
L2J don't work in that way, nobody will rework it from 0 just because you are requesting it lol xD
if you want that, you will have to do that yourself.

if you consider that L2P is better, use that then
you should know that even in Linux there is a lot of distributions, some with more features than others, and others with kernel more updated, etc.
so the user should chosen what is better for him

and no complain about it like a troll, specially if you doesn't contribute to the project to make it better.

I saw, working right now... (Just now, while you posting in forums. Is done H5 DV & LoA Spawns, skills, stats and drops?).
For all devolpers:
Why isn't working in H5 Stuff insead old files? Need a rework to fix all stuff for H5, as i guess.
Im using right now L2P Russian version, I try to make a better team in L2JServer, but as i see this project is going to dead whit these admins.
What every, i don't use linux. Just rework the core.
About the trolling, i saw it sacractic because that do it lesser insead say the truth in 1 post. Isn't it?

read the topic and you will know what is done or not, and the reasons:

who said we are not working in H5 ? isn't BETA/STABLE H5 ? read this next time:
viewtopic.php?f=66&t=21632
and btw L2J Devs are currently reworking things, so no idea about what are you complaining.

nope, isn't it, just that you have no idea what is being done in L2J currently

@marcose: You are not the one who have the rights to talk about administration changes at all.
You couldn't even type our nicknames correctly lol..
We don't need administration change we need new dev's but with current contribution activity we cannot select even adv users..
About not working features in l2j our current goal is not to develop features but to clean the source from old bad codes.
As you may not noticed since almost a year everything we do is to improve our source code at the maximum to rewrite most custom parts, to unhardcode everything we can..
The topics i made (The TODO ones) was to get a hand from the community while we are doing these major reworks but sadly only stolen files have been posted or totally custom at all..
We are not committing stolen files!
About the community i am the one of devs who takes care about User Contributions selection in this forum in most of the time all contributions that are not committed have a reply what is wrong with them or they don't have any feedback should i go after each contribution to test it?
Sorry i can't i don't have that time, that should be done from the community but sadly there are just few people that are willing to leave some feedback, others just leach, spam or troll in forums..
About the main topic the money thingy.
I don't need any money from that because it is not a work for me its kinda hobby.
All i am doing here is just because i like it.
If you willing to give some money there is a donation button in our web site use it.
BTW About your 'L2P' (I can bet that is the stolen overworld) Evilus can tell you how custom it is.

jurchiks wrote:There aren't that many that are "not worth committing". Obviously your criteria for "worth it" is different; I think if code works (even if with bugs; those can be fixed in the process) and the idea is good then all you need to do is push the contributor a little to improve it (with hints of course) and when it's ready - commit it. Not like "this isn't perfect, ignore it". How many contributions have you seen that are perfect or near-perfect? I certainly haven't seen that many to ignore the less perfect ones.
Your are talking like in auto-pilot.
You live in some other world years ago maybe i don't know but definitely is not in this one.
You're talking like we've never committed any single contribution lol..
Since last year we have more committed user contributions then last 3 years or that doesn't counts?
We are not ignoring contributions just because there is a little thing that have to be fixed!
There is a difference between 'it works' and 'how exactly does it works' for me you know one thing can be coded in millions of ways but not every one of them is good.
We was always pushing the contributors to get it as we want it to be sometimes we receive reply's like this one:
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=23428#p135941
But as you see if it is worth it it get's committed.
We cannot commit every contribution made because most of them are just the next stolen files or it is kinda custom or is pretty messy totally out of our way of doing things..

I never said you should commit all contributions and neither did I say that you don't commit anything. Don't make assumptions.
I'm complaining about the contributions that don't receive any comments from the devs. I'm not saying you should apply their patches and fully test the code, just at least read the patch and write something! Especially if you know it's wrong!
P.S. about that reply you linked to: I didn't have Eclipse installed at that time, I had deleted all that stuff from my PC and I had very crappy internet (i.e. couldn't download Eclipse or l2j).
