I have used many phpbb3 and i have to say that it is far more comfortable when the users profile is onthe left and not on the right. thats just my opinion though.

I think that its good on that way since you see first the content than the ugly avatar of the poster

True. Reading left to right this way you get right to the content.

Well, I always look who posted so I know who is talking. To some people, not all, a forum feels like a full-on conversation, I understand the content is more important, but some of these few people like me , see it as a conversation, and want to see posters name first, and with the aquired instict of left to right reading (damn books ) its just uncomfortable. But I do agree it is first priority to see the content.

Lean japanese like me, you get used to read right->left

Now for me its a pain to switch bettween >_> to <_< my eyes are going to <_>
