L2J Server

Hello dear L2j Community.

I am currently in the early planing stage for a new Server, and would like to know what you guys find the most in a L2 Server.

My thoughts about the project is to aim for a group based pvp server, a high rated server, pretty much retail like, with certain custom additions to improve the pvp game play.

If any of you guys would be kind enough to give me ideas and/or suggestions, please post them.

And please, no rubbish (spam, flame, etc).

This forum is mostly server admins and programmers, your target should be a player based forum.

I know this is a forum for server admins and programmers, that's why I ask here.

I want to know what you as a server admin/programmer would find interesting.

Shame....seems the willingness we had a few months ago is gone from these forums...

I doubt anyone will give you their "great" ideas that they have for their servers. Like DeadMeat said this is for Admins/programmers of servers and everyone has their own idea of how things should work. Most admins want to have their idea for themselves. Of course you can log in and check on servers but yeah thats another thing.

Not what I mean't but maybe true for most admins not to give an idea out that will take players from there own servers, I mean most of the people on this site don't get a lot of time to play the game and for some people this is a hobby for them and more fun than playing the game so they don't have an anwser for you, thats why I said a player forum with players that are looking for servers to play on that know the rates, etc. that they want.

I just started coming back to these forums just to help out as a hobby, I got rid of my servers over a year ago becuase I don't have the time to do this and run the servers, I like working on them just not running them, the last time I was here was 2 or 3 months before CT1 and there has been a lot of changes since Interlude.

That said just because I don't have any servers anymore I don't think it's far to the admins that work hard on there servers to make something custom to get players on there servers only for them to see the wannbe admins that have no clue how to run a server with there hands out looking for anther admin to make that custom stuff for them to take players any from them, I don't know much at all but I try to learn and I don't mind helping anyone that wants to learn but if you post on the forum that you want to make something you saw on anther server and I say where to start and you reply with I don't know how can you make it for me, I will not help you because you don't want to help yourself and you should not run a server.
