L2J Server

Hi I am from the USA and I am looking for a dedicated host. I looked at OVH but they don't accept americans I was wondering how much bandwidth I would actually need, or do I need to get unmetered. And could anybody suggest a cheap host for USA? Unless somebody is willing to order from OVH for me and I will give you the money.

Traffic can be calculated this way:

for 1 Player, you will roughly use 1 GB / Month. That's what I had months ago.

Last month I used 14GBs of bandwidth for 40-50 people...

I also have a website hooked up to my host...

If your from the US, you can get the best deals man, why the hell would u go to OVH...

Try servers in TX, they are usually the cheapest and the best priced, ask for a dedicated server with 1200GBs Bandwith, is their lowest amount offered.

Any suggestion for cheap windows dedi servers?

Imo DO NOT buy an American server. F.B.I is American. It doesn't have any power on Europe , nor does NCZ0ft on Europe , so they'll find u if u have an American server.

I personaly use http://www.godaddy.com. Has very good prices and services... Till 30/6/2009 everyone who going to use that cupon gdr0623aw will have 30% discount on domains. I don't have L2 server yet but i am planing to buy one.
Some questions: The server must be dedicated or a simple server do the job...???
Reading the above comments i stand speechless, why need so much bandwidth...??? There is a way to lower the needs of it...???

I am not a lawyer nor anything like that, but here is what I know...

If you host from USA there is a chance that you'll get a visit from FBI, because afaik in USA reverse engineering = illegal. The thing I don't know if it does apply to L2j aswell because the project began before there was any eula (or something like that)... not sure - but in Europe I think that if you don't host any copyrighted materials from NCZ0ft, they can't do anything.

If you want to see a bright future for your server get a dedicated one, for sure.

best prices around I've seen... No windows but, why windows? :p linux was always easier for me, and excellent support. I know I've said many times hetzner and so on, I am not advertising anything, but I really think it's the best in quality/price/support, so I'm just sharing info of what I think is the best deal you can get in Europe.
