Dear Sirs,
I'm Lestat, admin of a little spanish private server called ----------- , which will be closed soon. I've been using some forks from L2j, and l2j itself for two years.
This post is not for suggestions, not for demand an implementation. This is just to show all the developers out there my respect for all the work you do freely, for all the time you've spent looking for sources, implementing stuff and at the same time being so enthusiastic doing that.
As a retired admin i want to say you that all that work contributed to make a lot of players to have fun, to discover a new world and mainly a lot of friends. I think that sometimes all of you could lost that idea, but any single line of code is a free contribution that makes it possible.
Also, i would like to know if there is any idea from this community to create alternate sources for other games in the future (Aion,L3). If there is one, it would be great, as L2j will lost some day its current objective.
Finally, i wish a Merry Christmas to everybody out there, and obviously a great new year.
Best regards from Spain,
Lestat
