Hello! I've got some problems that after reading through forums I decided were protocol problems. I'll describe it anyway, though.

First problem is that the "mail" window keeps popping up whenever I level up or teleport.
Second, and bigger, problem is that I cannot buy anything from any shop, whether it's //gmshop or any other shop.
I didn't get further than this because I couldn't really play at this point.

When I checked my server file, it was set to minimum = 83 maximum = 87, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the client as well as downloading and installing the latest nightlies. still, I have the exact same problems. including the minimum and maximum being 83 and 87 instead of the newer protocol of 148. It is obviously not a PTS client since I downloaded it from fileplanet and updated it by connecting to the live server, so I know that is not a problem. So what am I doing wrong? Please let me know. Thank you!

afaik nightlies are still Gracia Final so you will not be able to play with Epilogue client ?

also latest protocol version is 146 not 148

Doh! (slaps head) So that means i should go download Gracia FINAL client, and NOT connect to live server to update anything, right? Thanks! I'll go ahead and do that right now (>___<)b You're awesome!

client revision 83 in config? that must be a really old server then. not even gracia final..

afaik min 83 max 87 worked fine in gracia final? Or am I completly off the track now I know it was 8x'ish

hm, ok, 83 is early gracia final. but still not that from nightly l2j.

I got that nightly about 36 hours ago, so it's pretty recent. I haven't been able to try it out yet, the client I got from FilePlanet was corrupted so i have to download all over again....bah.
