The post named "Against bots" is only about OOG bots.
And what about the others? Any suggestion to detect them?
Thanks

hm, not really a protection.. can be bypassed by L2Net already. for such "protection" the player just has to click on login and then run the bot, so that such "protection" is not relevant for bot playing, only for login process.

I'm talking about IG bots, just the ones that are not emulators!
This can be passed perfectly by these bots.
About captchas, I guess that they can have an alarm for when the captcha is shown..

I personally have L2Net and try to understand how it works. There really is an alarm option but it doesn't have the option to sound an alarm when a window pops up (it's for PM, All Chat, in case of wartag around, low HP/MP/CP e.t.c). You have to script it...L2Net uses a quite powerful scripting language and everything is possible...
But not all L2Net users are that smart to script that kind of thing

. IMHO captcha is a nice way of protection. Just have captcha and if something more advanced comes out add it

.

Even if the captcha thingie is applied, L2Net owners won't let their bot die and ofc code a script for bypassing it instantly and share it everywhere, so their project wont die... Its logical, since they win money by this bot
