It's me again, hello. I Installed everything correctly, Navicat + MySQL + Java DTK, downloaded "Interlude" L2 server, it suddenly updated itself to Epilogue with GameGuard, which I then disabled. Then I logged in via root/root user, I press "Confirm" and nothing happens. Actually, error=620 happened once, I've lurked about it and found that I should change the ServerRevision values to 1-999. Did it, and now I still cannot login, but the 620 error disappeared. I can see the server, ping is 0, "light".

Any suggestions?

The game updated itself to Epilogue, but the "server" pack I downloaded is for "Interlude". Since I've realized I can put any version to go through, and I am able to get to "confirm" screen, the pack is fine. Any help?

interlude and epilogue have totally different packet structure. i doubt you can just login with epilogue client to interlude server.

It was already astonishingly difficult for me to run the server at all, I'm horrified even thinking to start over. I just can't believe it's so godddddamn crappy with all these server packs, there has to be a simple way of doing it. Never even thought about the gameguard before, if I'll redl everything it's gonna be still on, then I have to find diff version of this, that, this, this OMG ffs. So pissed off.

sorry man, but there isn't. C4 is even worse, Interlude is quite popular unlike C4, just find the right patch or a working IL fork to leech from.
"the game updated itself to Epilogue"... and you just clicked on LineageII.exe and let it go? WTF dude? IL is so different from Epilogue, what did you expect?
Also, dunno where you read that "can put any version to go through", but that doesn't work , and even if you can log in, at least SOME packets will be different, which will result in bugs and weird stuff happening.

In short - uninstall Epilogue, install Interlude AND DON'T UPDATE IT (find a patch if you need, but DO NOT launch LineageII.exe), then see what happens.

gameguard is your host file nothing to do with the server. Change the nprotect ip to 66.240.255.107
