Hello. I have a problem - when I log in with a character, after ~30 secs these criticals pop up:
Assertion failed: Location==Location [File:.\UnPhysic.cpp] [Line: 1252]

What have I done:
1. Resinstalled patch
2. Reinstalled game
3. Downloaded newest drivers
4. reinstalled Windows...
Nothing helped... What's wrong? Please, help...

1st) update your client to latest
2nd) Patched system is old (prefer using non patched)

Ohh, I've forgot to mention - client is updated a couple of days ago.
And by saying "patched system is old"... What do u mean by that? Do you mean that server that I am in is using system that is too old for the game?
EDIT: another critical:

It is very possible. Wait... this is not your server?
Then contact server admin. Probably something is wrong with spawnlist.
BTW this is not a gameplay support forum... someone plz lock this topic.

I tried many servers. Same.
And what is spawnlist anyway? How to fix it?

just a simple search on google and i have found out that you cannot play L2 like for ever... i have even found posts of yours since 2008.
Tell me something, is this your pc configuration?
2008.12.21 02:30:45
OS : Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU : AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1460 MHz with 255MB RAM
Video : NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440-SE (9371)
PosCode : LS1:-56221:-113548:-672 1/0
or did you buy a new one?

I recently added 512 RAM (so now it has 768 RAM), so RAM shouldn't be an issue. Besides, i used to play L2 back in 2008 summer even with 256 RAM and L2 worked...
Yes, these posts indeed are mine, but I had totally forgotten about L2 for more than a year, so, ya.

you system is fine to play in low graphic mode (and only if you have a clean installation of windows) but the major problem is your VGA and that is why you have critical errors.
The problem is that your VGA can't reproduce the lineage animations properly.
I don't know if a better VGA card will solve the problem since your pc is old in general.
I would suggest you if you have some spare money to buy a used pc. I am sure you will find last year technology in very low price. Thats what i do
So now you know...

Hmm.. Thanks.
To be quite honest, the only reason I asked about this problem no longer is to play Lineage2. It's persistance to know what's wrong. In less than 2 months' time I am starting my political science studies and games such as Lineage2 would only distract me.
So, maybe it IS a good thing that my PC is old, isn't it?
And thanks help.
btw, what is "spawnlist" anyway? How it can affect game?

Yeap, true, when studies don't play games...
Alanas wrote:btw, what is "spawnlist" anyway? How it can affect game?
spawnlist is a list in the database of a server with data of the monsters, where they are and which one. When there is an upgrade of the client some mosters are removed and some others are added.
So if the admin is using in the server data from older version is normal your client not to show them. That way the server sends packets of the monsters that you should see but your client doesn't have them and you get critical error.
And that is why in most cases when you have critical error, after update is fine.

Spawnlist is some kind of file, right? If so, I don't see it. Tried searching it manually as well as via file searches. Found nothing.

Hmm... Interesting... That means that there are no problems with spawnlist as I have tried many many servers, which means that my PC is too old.
I see now. Finally I understood. Thanks.
