L2J Server

First of all, im sorry if i post at the wrong section. i read through all the sections but didnt get the right one, so i posted it here. im trying to make a offline server. just for testing. i follow the video tutorial made by DrLecter. when i start the gameserver it all goes smoothly but...then it show an error like "damn! registeration failed: reason: wrong hexid" wat i do wrong ? anyone can help me out ?

did you run registergameserver.bat at login folder and put the generated hexid.txt in gameserver/config/ ?

yes, i did. i even redid all the stuffs twice, and still got the same error.

edit : btw, im using L2.exe . wat should i put on host file ?

If you are testing running the game from the same PC than server check the following post:
viewtopic.php?f=81&t=18339#p97570

127.0.0.1 localhost

127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com
127.0.0.1 l2testauthd.lineage2.com

Host file will work fine like this above.

Is Hexid the same between gameserver/config/hexid.txt and your "gameserver" database table ?

If not, edit them manually to have same data.
