hello everyone,

i'm asking your support for a brand new server i've setup. Here's the situation:

- login and gameserver up'n'running

- i can connect, login, create a player and play

- to do this *with the latest nightly datapack and server* i must change the allowed protocol also if i'm using a Gracia Epilogue live client, obviously i don't use the launcher to open it to avoid updates. If i do l2.exe l2protocolversion the client shows an upper protocol. Without this change i get only a "your client has a different protocol, please continue" just after the login

- and now the problems: at first impression everything is ok, but if i get something to put on the inventory i can only see it if i've the inventory opened, if i close/reopen the window i don't see nothing or strange objects. I'm sure this error is cause by the "allowed protocol" change i made, but... at this time, apparently with these client/server/datapack downloadable it's the only way to play.

am i wrong?
any suggestions?

easy to say but difficult to do, for me. Where i can find already updated gracia epilogue clients? (upper protocol means old client?)

ahah! thanks for your suggestion but i've already downloaded a lot of clients before ask here (using google of course)
Gamershell, or Fileplanet gracia epilogue clients, for example, are the clients but *without* updates.
And updating them means passing directly to Freya...

i can't find any places that say: this is gracia epilogue client with the latest updates. Do you?

Best to wait for the latest release from here then compile it that way you will not have any problems

yes i think that the only solution at this point is waiting for the l2j freya release.
It's the only updated/updatable client avaiable right now.

get GE protocol 152 system and update to freya - you can use GE system wit freya client

really? how can i do that?

Start your L2 client with LineageII.exe in Lineage II folder, now wait that your client is updated to Freya..So download my system* (152 GE protocol) and paste it in Lineage II folder.

Now start your L2 client with l2.exe in Lineage II/system folder and test if the antons007's idea is good

distribution of copyrighted files is not allowed here, next time is ban

i have doing this since Freya PTS and all works great
login screen is from freya all other from GE

i'm downloading now.
