L2J Server

Is it just me or with time i noticed that l2 players are becoming more stupid/irogant. I run a high rate pvp server full of people(kids) that dont use their brains, it really pisses me off in a level that i dont wanna work on my server anymore. In my days i used to play high rates too but people back then was more mature. Now they ask for GM's to be on 24/7, in my days nobody cared if a GM was online or not we just enjoyed the game no matter how many bugs there were or how unbalanced the server might have been... The list i have with what i face is endless. All i wanna know and discuss is what happened? what changed except from the game and players became like this? Now i see why the last couple of years everyone is making a low-mid rate server.

Imo it's because the game has become much easier on retail, all those new features and bonuses make it so easy to level up, they attract all the brainless kids that only want to max out and pvp all the time and act like they're allmighty. So naturally whenever a difficulty occurs or something doesn't work it's GM/game's fault.

Not sure if they have gotten even more retarded, but ya they are pretty bad.

Didn't there used to be a thread that had peoples most idiotic petitions? lol

For example the other day some one petitioned me asking how they lost their levels, and that they wanted them back after using a De level function at a NPC multiple times. Apparently people just click everything w/o reading. Or someone asking why they couldn't hit mobs after equipping something above their grade.

I think the server news window function only helps 2%~ of players. Most dont even read it, then ask about it in a petition after updates are in the news window. Hell people dont even see announcements, you can tell them something changed in announcements they see upon logging in, and the first thing they will do is ask something that already in there.

Just tell those retards to "write in forum", maybe someone will help them. If they don't even know the basics of the game and all they do is ask questions, ignore them.

Times changes, people that used to play L2 on the early times they have moved to another games or grown up into the RealWorld™ so they dont play anymore.

Users nowdays are mostly kids who have played WoW for several time and looking for a new air they go into L2 PVP servers to kill time playing something else without the thrill to level up and gear up again.

We all know how WoW can cause brain damage and create some disturbing behavior on players accustomed to play WoW-like grinding click click click slash slash click click click slash slash click click click slash slash

That's why you should play a different game...like minecraft I bet those kids couldnt figure out how to play even that simple of a game

90% of this forum users are indeed admins who cant get a proper server running. He didnt insult anyone, he just stated a simple fact ...

i was told once that the first who reacts on some action is mostly the person who was target of that action...but thats not possible in your case i presume so nvm...
