wanna make a L2j private server i bought a hosting somewhere platform windows server 2008 r2
i Setup the server Correctly and when i tryed to connect to my own server from pc can not connect i already read some topic about this and i found that you need to port !!! i went to http://www.canyouseeme.org and checked port ...

Your ISP is not blocking port 7777

is possible to open port using rdp ?!

I have the same problem and i don't think i can solve this, because i don't knwo what to do now..
Ports are opened(7777, 2106, 9014). If i check those ports at canyouseeme.org 2106 and 9014 are denied and 7777 is success.
I think it's because i use no-ip.org and i let the website & forum work on the same computer as for the login/gameserver. But i don't know..

Please help me!

9014 is not necassary to be opened, it's for ls-gs communication, and if you have both of them on the same box, you don't need to open that port.
Port 2106, however, is for login connections, so this port is of primary concern. If you managed to open 7777, you should know how to open 2106 too.

I opened 2106 and 9014 already.. i hope i say the right thing now.. I made some screenshots for this problem.
I can connect to the server from my own PC, but others can't.
The server worked yesterday..

I just told you, you don't need to open 9014, and if your website is on the same host, then you must absolutely NOT open port 3306 either.
Anyway, your loginserver console shows an error "Couldn't resolve hostname", which means something is wrong with your gameserver ID/IP settings (since it can't resolve its name from servername.xml).

In any case, I don't really know what could be blocking 2106 in your case. It might aswell be your ISP...

We found a solution. But a different one.. It depended to something else.
But you were right, we don't need to open 9014!
