First of all, sorry for the grammatical mistakes, a non native english here. We have some issues in our l2j hi5 server. At some random moments, the player characters freezes and, after some seconds while them can't move, they get teleported to a near area. We don't know whats the problem, as we don't get any error on the GS console. The server only have one custom external mod, Visual Armor of Issel adapted to hi5.

¿This can be associated with the updating of the Seven Signs? It seems that the freezes occurs at the same time that the console shows the 7S update, but im not sure...

PD: As additional data, we have a 2GB vps for testing purposes. ¿Can this be the problem?

Yes, i think the same. Maybe when we migrate all get solved.

But the server goes smooth all the time with 5-6 players testing zones, and we get totally random freezes :/

I agree with JMD on this one, but i have to admit i never tried running L2J on VPS.

It runs well until the massive db queries flood start (lets say seven signs it stores its data per player so.. 30 players = 30 storing queries)

Then the combo of vps host + queries flood on db is killing us. Yep, I understand :/.

The we will migrate as soon as possible. Thx for the help .

I used a vps once back in 2009, only downside i noticed at the time was long start ups, usually over 200 seconds and generally high latency on moving around etc.

Anyway if you want to cut corners with money and stuff if you plan to run a high rate pvp server you can use a 2 core machine with 2gb of ram and be able to handle 400 players easily, but thats another discussion.
