Which one is better to run l2jserver and why ? Post advantages and disadvantages.

usually windows uses more ram for explorer.exe (gui) than ubuntu.

it still uses more than linux.
If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.
Otherwise you will never learn anything if all you do is copy-paste!

Windows:

Pros: You have always available GUI
Cons: Uses more ram and is less stable

Linux:

Pros: GUI is still an option, though if you want to do stuff efficiently welcome to terminal. Less memory usage, a lot more stable.
Cons: Require some experience since it's not as user-friendly as Windows.

Imo nothing bad about learning a bit of ubuntu is a quite cool OS, fun to use and it seems harder than it is. I had to learn to operate l2j on ubuntu in a mater of days and i succeeded.
