Details on update L2j

Hello everyone . I am quite new to the community trying to figure out how to succesfully build a H5 server.
So far i managed to build a great stable server with some additions - npcs etc.
My main concern here now as we have the Git functionality is how we must update the server from the repository or Check if there are updates
and Update the server accordingly.
I would love to hear your thoughts or practices you do that .
For example - GIT then what regarding the server files having in mind that we have already a working environment .
