Strange client lags - need help
So im running a pvp server with more than 300 players online.
I noticed that after around 40mins of playing client starts to lag big time, almost unplayable, after restarting client everything is smooth again for the next ~40 mins.
Anyone has any ideas why is this happening and if there's any solution?

The only modification I did is lame-guard antibot, and I belive its not what will cause lags ingame itself, other than that its a clean H5 client with clean system.

Intel Xeon E5-1620v2
But how is it related to anything server-side?

It has been reported already that L2j does not perform well on Xeon processors.

Zoey you are aware we are talking about client lags? how is it possible that server hardware causes lags on client side? or im missing anything...
If you mean server side lags it might be this:
viewtopic.php?f=77&t=30968
The thing is if its really true then its a very important issue and that means big servers cannot run properly and it should be fixed...

Sahar, I think you should give specification of your server such as :
PROCESSSOR:
RAM:
INTERNET SPEED:
and so on, since server can become very lag if your server spec are not enough. Even considering the speed factor of internet line.
Make sure you really have really high RAM to compensate the people the number playing on your server.
50 player maybe ok with 4gb ram allocated, but if you run with hundreds of player, u need more than that. Maybe 16 GB ram or 32 GB ram..
Sometimes, the factor of processor is also affected the lagging.

Re: Strange client lags - need help
I still don't get how server side HW can affect how client side behave...?
And anyway my machine is strong enough I already mentioned above its HW..
Intel Xeon E5-1620v2, 12 cores 500 mbps up/down 64 GB RAM
