How to reduce client lags with big online?

Hello,
I have a pvp server which has alot of small areas where people used to pvp.
Because of big online in small areas people were facing client lags.
I would like to know what do you think can be done in order to reduce lags in such cases?
Personally I was thinking of removing effects when there's more than ~60 players in a certain place, I already know how to remove the broadcasting of soul/spirit shots, but I would like to know what else can be removed to reduce lag?

You might try a voice command to:
- Enable/Disable Soulshot/Spiritshot effect.
- Enable/Disable skill animation.
- Enable/Disable buff animation.

Why you started another thread with the same issue ? Somebody in the original thread asked you already about your HW specs... avoid to create duplicate threads...
