am try to get a java server going on my pc , am on step 8 "build the server from source code" it gives this error

can some one explain in general how this all installation work and why we do this things, an new to this so i need help .
in general i just want to get a C6 working on my pc so i can play with friends, i dont mind if the server will be on my pc. what kind of server should i open for that? , please help

Can you try to expand that project and right click pom.xml file and go to Run - Maven - Install?

i just tried, it gives me the same error

after i imported the git's, there is a red icon beside the packages and
it does not let me do anything from the package explorer
