I've been designing pages for some years now, since the mid 1990's. You can still get AOL Press, if it still works on modern operating systems. Nice and easy and quick. Produces reasonable code that isn't too cluttered.

Search for it with google; there are still a few versions out there. Version 2 I think was the latest and last.

Edit - Just checked, you can get it from here http://www.mmsd.org/webpub/aolpress.htm and the Windows 95 version is 32 bit and runs under W2K fine. I did need to clear out my temp directory before it would install, though. Other than that, it seems to be healthy. Ah ... it brings back memories.

Nice prog but it is like front page. I don't like front page because it is a prog to make websites like notepad.
i need something to insert things like toolbook or something.

Not sure what you mean by toolbook, but AOL Press lets you edit the page both ways, either by editing the HTML directly, or you can edit the HTML page as if it was a word processing document, and it will take care of the HTML. Trust me, it is worth a closer look. :)

I have to admit that I have never seen it. I have used various "easy" web programming systems like Dreamweave, Frontpage and even Word, but most of what they make is ugly and does not work across many browsers.

These days I code all my html by hand. ... mostly using notepad :D I do use Homesite now and then, but only for power search/replace.
