Quick question,
well, maybe not quick
my server hosts about 10 people adverage.
I have my drop rate at 3x
I have made a sweeping change of the DROP table as so:
Chances that were between 1 and 300 are now all 700
chances that were between 300 and 600 are now all 800
chances that were between 600 and 900 are now all 900
the rest of the Drop table is default.
with that change its now common to see a rare Item drop off a normal mob occasionaly on my low play server where befor we never saw a rare drop.
now on to my question.
I adjusted the raid boss's regen/defence so they can be killed now with 4-5 people,
but it seems when they die they are only droping a rare (armor/weapon) about 1 out of like 5-6 raid bosses.
this is from a straight fight, all of proper lvl, not breaking the encounter and retrying ect.
what effects the drop of rare on a raid boss besides breaking the encounter or max dmg dealer being more then 3 levels higher?
or is a raid boss still not guaranteed a rare drop all the time?
any info would help greatly
