A hardware question

Hi every one,
i have a question about with hardware is better for running l2j server
TYAN
S4881
Opteron854 4x2,8GHz/1MB Cache L2
16GB DDR 400MHz ECC@ 8x2GB PC3200R ECC
600GB SCSI 10K@ 2x300GB SCSI 10K (MAW3300NC)
or
PHENOM II X4 955 /BOX
ASUS M4A88T-M /AMD880G/AM3
4X2G DDR3 1600 KINGSTON HYPERX BL
or
similar configurtion with Intel Quad Core Q6600 8MB and 4X2G DDR3 1600
Also witch is better: 4 single core server processors or 1 CPU with 4 cores.

Also witch is better: 4 single core server processors or 1 CPU with 4 cores.

Yes my question is that: an old server machine with 4 CPU or new PC with 4 core CPU is better for running l2j server?
If i know the answer i would not quest.

Usually ppl dont need that strong pc for an l2j server depends on how many player you wish for.
Each pc you talk about is more than enough for l2j even tho the performance of l2j well no offense but sucks harder and harder with each release...doesnt matter which one you pick it will be more than fine.

MB supports and dual core processors but i shop where i found that server has only with single core CPUs.
I wish to run server with 400-500 ppl on it with that computer.

more than enough for that much player and much more doesnt matter which one you go with and by the way multicore > single core.

Anything on the list will run what you need, but I would go with the 2nd option. More modern hardware results in better performance.

Yes i know that, but also know that 16GB Ram is more than 8GB Ram. Which is better to have 16 GB DDR ecc ram or
8 GB DDR 3 ram?
