server/client match

sorry if this is wrong but i cant find what client match's server version 4588 and DP revision 7935. i tried hi5 full update but cant create a char. and yes this is my first try at L2J

have you put server ip in hosts file ?

yes i have 192.168.0.111 l2authd.lineage2.com. i can connect to login and game server. just when i go to make a character it tells me that it already exist then makes a dwarf (no matter what race i choice) and kicks me out.

ok i found this by accident but its same problem viewtopic.php?f=81&t=21814. after reading post then linked post then linked post sounds like i compiled wrong with out Subversion or Subclipse? seeing how it was my first time using eclipse should i start over or ? sorry i want to learn just not sure were i went wrong

hi,
I also had the same problem.
I think you are using server and Datapack not H5
try using
http://svn.l2jdp.com/branches/unstable/ ... aPack_BETA
and
http://svn.l2jserver.com/branches/unsta ... erver_BETA
with your subeclipse

i started out using the nightly's but couldn't find a patched freya. so i went and loaded the whole eclipse thing witch was fun in its self. realy was cool. compiled beta and unzipped over nightly files updated server and client to hi5. now i'm not sure if i have a awt.dll (no idea what that is) problem or a failed compile/install. ganna delete and try again.

dont overwrite files with beta make a new one best way to go install a new db as well
