Devs of L2J. Your backgrounds. Please?:D

I was looking through the source code of L2j server and just figuring out how you approach this project of yours. I became rather curious what started your efforts? I mean this is some pretty intense coding. I admire your dedication. I was wondering if any of your were active in this forums if you would tell me what kind of educational backgrounds you had, What type of things you studied to learn java, and why you chose to do this type of project?
