hello i recently tried to set up my own server for the first time...the sql went good and stuff....but i am stuck in some place.....i cant make others to log in my server..... as someone told me i have to let default-ipconfig.xml as it is make a host file with my externalip and use 127.0.0.1 in l2.ini file well thats ok for me... i mean from my computer i can normaly log to my server....but thats not happening to other ppl from distant networks everytime my friend tries to log the "please wait" window after u type the password just stays there forever !! ...can someone explain me the possible reasons of that ? maybe the ports of rooter firewall or smt that i should change on ipconfig xml file ? or anything ? just need some help guys really

mmmh hello ,
try opening router ports, i dont remember which ones exactly, but in the wiki i remember i saw it from there.
and check wether ur firewall prevents ppl to log in ur server.
i opened ports for 53 80 2009 7777 9016 2106 on vurtual servers..... and on firewall .....do i need to open on port triggering too or not ? any other possible cause of that happening? stucking on please wait logging in message? (for others always not me )
