Buffer for HighFive

Post by Diana »

Server Rev: 6564
Datapack Rev: 10359

Hello,
I'm new to making servers and playing with server files, and I recently made a server using the revision/datapack stated above. I'm wanting to add a buffer to my server, and I found a couple including YANBuffer (Couldn't configure it, it always gave me an error when running the game server). Anyway I found this Rin4a buffer and I did all the steps:
1) Executed the sql (149 queries successful)
2) copied the file into scripts/custom
3) Added the npc to the npc table in l2jgs
4) Added the command in scripts.cfg to run the scipt.

The Buffer worked; however there are some issues with it.
1) There is no name or title displayed above the buffer npc's head even though I added name as "Buffer" and title as "Scheme" in the npc table.
2) I cannot target the buffer if I am on a character with an access level of 1. Only my admin character can click it.

These are images to clarify my issue:

I would really appreciate any assistance from someone who is able to guide me through a quick fix to my problem, I have also attached the buffer at the end of the post. if anymore information is required then let me know.
Thank you very much :)

Use server side name and title inside NpcAiData.

Don't know why you wouldn't be able to target on a non GM character.

Thank you very much that fixed both problems!
However, a new issue arises :/.
It appears that dances/songs aren't functioning well because:
1) When I press alt and click on them they dont delete.
2) They disappear after I relog.
3) They decrease stats.

Any ideas?

What is the final dance you have?
Isn't it Dance of Blade Storm which has description that says:
For 15 seconds, increases a party member's Resistance to bows by 45 and Resistance to crossbows by 25. Decreases M. Atk. by 99%. Additionally increases MP consumption when singing while song/dance is in effect. Requires a dualsword. Enchant Cost: Decreases MP consumption.

Okay thats true but that still doesn't explain why dances are undeletable or why they disappear when I relog :o

Please check the config files, there are options for both of these inside of character.properties I believe.
