C5 Marrage L2J

I keep getting questions about marrage in my server... not I thought there was some quest to get an item but I am not entirely sure...

I would like some help with this if it actually is supported by l2j or a custom script...

There exist a series of quests to earn formal wear. Formal Wear looks like wedding dresses and tuxedos...by all means, that is the closest that the client can support as far as clothes go.

So...assuming that your players do the quests and earn the formal clothes, what else do you need in order to establish a "wedding" and what will that offer the players? Do they earn any bonuses? Are the NPCs responding any differently to married couples?...

If not, then all you need is the formal clothes...the quests are in, so you need nothing more.
If yes, then you need a custom system...the one Renji posted might work (I haven't seen it) or you might want to add some custom jython scripts, some custom items (hair accessories "for events" are a good choice), or a fully blown core customization.

Just what exactly are you looking for?

I have heard that being married allows some form of teleportation to spouse, or some such. I have heard many people talk about it since I started playing L2 last year, but have to admit that I know little about marriage ... Anyone have any experience of this on retail? I'll start to do some sniffing and will report back.

Done a bit of digging and no one knows about marriage as a ritual itslef on retail - only roleplay. There is, obviously, formal wear which changed from C4 to C5 as to the rules of carrying weapons, etc. and there is a whiff of chatter about music crystals ... but that is about all I can find out about. Sorry folks.

Retail has no real marriage system. You can get formal wear through quests, you can get echo crystals...believe also through quests and everything around it is all up to yourself. I know a couple who got "married" ingame. They just send an invite to everyone in the alliance to meet in the church in Aden. The ceremony was lead by the clan leader.

This is the only way ive seen marriage on the official server, no benefits or anything...just costs a lot of money...just like in real life
