I've run into a Hacking Tool error almost as soon as I start the game. Everything else has been sorted and now this... I've found no useful information through the search function, besides mention of the gameguard killer, which I'd rather avoid. Especially since that topic was locked. Has anyone else achieved some meaningful workaround for this?

Re: Hacking Tool Error
I found your posts related to this when I was trying to fix the error. Mostly you told the other dude having issues to PM you, or you'd PM them the answer.... So maybe you should check your sent PM's?
Also you have 19 pages of posts for me to sift though, I'm pretty sure it'd take you five minutes to find the topic you posted the fix it. It'll take me an hour to sift though all your posts...
Note - Using the search filter on your posts for relevant keywords turn up nothing, nothing, and the Ant Build topic respectively.

Re: Hacking Tool Error
That seems to have done it, thanks much hope. Sadly, I appear to have one more issue.
When I actually log in, my character just stands there, and the monsters and NPC's that would normally be present in the area aren't there. I can interact with all of the menues, though some of them do nothing. I cannot switch weapons for instance, but I can access the system menu and change graphics settings, and even apply them with nothing going awry.
So, I'm not sure what the cause of that is. Should I not have MySQL running in strict mode? Anyone know how I can fix this final issue, between me and a perfectly running server?

Re: Hacking Tool Error
you running what version of the server files and is your client fully updated
if above are both latest then put all configs back to default if that does not work recompile and redo the db tables

Re: Hacking Tool Error
I'm running the version displayed at the top post and I'm running the most recent version of lineage II. And changing the priorities screwed up more things than it helped. Like most of the windows containing information I needed in firefox. It did nothing for the server, besides immidiately result in a disconnect message as soon as I tried to log in. (Once I got in game that is.)

The recompile worked, quests and movement in game seem to be working alright. Can't move with the wasd or arrow keys even with appropriate settings for some reason. Also, the shortcut bar has taken a hike, and I haven't been able to find out how to make it reappear.

alt+x>settings
find INITIALIZE button in one of the tabs, click it and you should find the shortcut bar now

If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.

Re: Hacking Tool Error
No I did it right, the build just didn't go well for some reason. Running database installer from the tools folder a second time and doing the full option, creating a whole new database, cleared everything up. Now I'm just trying to get my server onto the open internet.
In the loginserver config, internal IP should remain 127.0.0.1, or be the router address, or the computer address? External IP I'm guessing should be my WAN IP? LogonserverHostname should also be my computer IP? Or 127.0.0.1? Appropriate ports are forwarded already and should be functional considering I can log in and move about now. Also, restarting Lineage II solved my shortcut Bar problem.
Also, in the server properties, the ExternalHostname should be my WAN IP now right? Or should it be my computers IP? (As it is it runs with my computers IP, but that would only work over the LAN right?)
InternalHostName should be 127.0.0.1, or my computers static IP again? And GameServerHostName, what should that be? Its set to 127.0.0.1, but for WAN access, should it be my WAN IP or my LAN Static IP?

Re: Hacking Tool Error - Updated
I set it up for the sake of seeing if it was working and fleshing out any issues, like the gameguard one. Now I want to put the server online so others can sign in, just a few friends. I've tried logging in with my laptop, its on the same network but through a different router, and no joy. Like the first time I tried on my main machine, it doesn't seem to detect the login server. What settings should be in the client computers hosts file, and what should my settings be to get the server online?
