Core update without using SVN.

Is there any way to update core without using SVN?

you could take the .jar files from nightly and replace yours, but you should then also update your datapack properly according to the nightly. - some of the changes are done for both core and dp, and dp would not work if you would update just core.
but before doing this, always do a backup (server files and database)!
