if you will do the same test like you described with 1 player on server and 100 and its still the same after repeating this 20 mobs for 20 times test then come back and say random is wrong...until then it is random and just cause you dont like the way how random appears is for us "you dont buy this explanation ? so what ? Lol" :)

It's not like this happens randomly. It's always the same!
Either I get NONE, or I get 2-3 hebs.
If it's random, it shouldn't matter how many is on server. Because if it does matter, random is flawed.

Below is what I mean... Each number stands for ~20 with AOE killed mobs.

This is random:
1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 2 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 1

This is not random:
2 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 5 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 0

Yes, I actually got 5 once! lol

Do you see the difference? Either none, or 2+, never 1. Or has statistics and talk about God blinded you all?! ;)

I think that when using AOE, 2 or more mobs dies at the same time, and if they do, they use the same random-number. If this number is in the 'good-zone' you will get a drop from each of these mobs.
And when doing AOE, there's a good chance of 2 or more mobs dying at the same time. So you get these multi-drops. As a matter of fact, you actually SEE them drop at the same time. So it's from the same 'blow', if you know what I mean.

You made too low number of tests. 500-1000 will be enough in this case.

No, this was just an example.
I've spent hour after hour, killing lots and LOTS of ~20 group mobs. There's IS a pattern! :)

What you're saying is that if I continue for another week, next week will even things out, giving only 1 drop at the most...to magically balance things?
Don't think so...

It's been like this since I introduced the herbs on the server. And the herbs are just an example too, but it's just more obvious with them!

Using your own words DS, try it on a clean install before you say anything! :)

Better think what herb drop procedure is poorly written - use int instead of float :lol:

Players always complain about anything, this is normal.
Here is the sample of the enchant results on my live server:
Total enchant attempts with non-100% chance: 1772
Failed enchant attempts: 621 - 35.04%

Pretty good distribution for 66% enchant rate ? :)
