I was "tweaking" the drop rate for the cursed weapons in cursedweapons.xml and I have a question. First off, I understand that cursed weapon drop value "100000" yields a 100% drop rate if server drop rate is set to 1. Next, for experimental purpose I modified cursed weapon drop rate to "2500" (theoretically that should be 2.5% chance if server drop rate is 1). Now, the cursed weapon are now dropping fairly regularly even at 2.5% (theoretically). The effect is compounded even more so if the server drop rate is higher then 1, say 5 for example. The weapon are now dropping after 20-50 monsters killed.
I am confused because the drop rate seem exceedingly high at 2500 (2.5%) x 5 (400x) (server drop rate). Maybe it's because of my lack of understanding how server drop rate is calculated. Can someone explain to me how server drop rate is calculated or its multiplication effect is?
1 = Default rate
2 = 100x ?
2.5 = 150x ?
3 = 200x?

Okay, after more testing I think I found the answer myself and an acceptable drop rate for the two cursed swords.
