I need a help.
What is more important to run the server?
Processor, Memory or HD Speed?

I know that the ideal is have all.
But, i wonder what that reduces the lag on the server.
What is a good host?
:)

Thx for attention.
And Sorry my bad english.

I'd say get 8gb of ram, at least a dual core processor, and if you can afford it, an SSD HD.

Anything beyond that is just nice. But that setup will handle a decent load.

Along similar concerns about performance, I had been wondering about network performance pertaining to upload bandwidth (server to client). Currently I am using 100Mb up and down so it's hard for me to tell any difference but I had began to wonder how many players can a certain upload bandwidth support efficiently.

My current bandwidth is quite stable for 200 players and I believe it may be an overkill actually. Does anyone have experience with varying upload bandwidth and how many players it may effectively support? I am looking to cut cost a bit and want to know which communication bandwidth range will still efficiently support 200-400 players.

200 players = ???
300 players = ???
etc.

Again, I have roughly 210 active players during peak time on 100Mb and network performance monitor shows no signs of stress. Any advice is will be greatly appreciated.
