Okay...
Problems -
I know H5 client doesn't work with L2J, so cannot use the most current client from official download from NCZ0ft.
I have a install of a Freya client (no update at all, no Hi5) installed... (protocol version 216), logs in... but main menu has no options buttons... character selection has NO buttons whatsoever, no delete, no create, no relogin... From what I can find out on the older posts, this is a client error since it does not have all the necessary files, and must be updated for it to work correctly - so here lies the problem, if I update, client becomes Hi5, which cannot connect to L2J... if I don't update... I'm back to square one...
So now I'm completely stuck and out of ideas...

Look for a fully updated Freya client (non-HighFive). It's a pain in the ass to find for those who don't already have it, but there is no other way.
If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.
Otherwise you will never learn anything if all you do is copy-paste!

Nevermind, fixed... long story short, I didn't need an entire updated client... just the system folder...

There should be other files necassary too, I think some textures were changed/added too.
