How can I edit instances to are solo farmable
like seed of destruction, where do I change the required amount?

you need to change the minimum required amount of players inside the instance zone's script but you need to also make a changes to let the instance script auto-determine the group type which might come when viewtopic.php?f=69&t=30198 will be complete
