Upnp Random Upnp Teredo ports

Post by gussaki »

Hey all,
i would love a reply if thats possible .

I got fresh windows 7 machine installed and configured to run a High Five Server for testing purposes .
After disabling the UPNP feature both in login and game configurators since i want to use the ipconfig.xml .

What i noticed is that in my router i constantly see a UDP port opened for example UDP 54200 with the explanation UPNP:Teredo reflecting to my host machine.

Is it something going on or something wrong ?

I really dont want to open ports to the outside world with no reason at all .

After rebooting the machine no ports opening since i wanted to check where it comes from . Not the antivirus , not the windows update feature etc.
No opened port.
When i launch GS and LS the Teredo thing pops out again . Deleting it and continues popping again .

What is going on ?

Thanks a lot guys for the time.

L2J Uses only TCP ports not UDP.

Just an update .

I disabled the Ipv6 feature on my network adapter and the Teredo tunneling stopped . I think that windows was triggering that port.
